About 5 people where I voted - and this is in downtown Miami - everyone voted early?

I'm in NW Broward and was dead this morning. Left my house at 720 and home by 750. Would have been 745 but wife took forever

Damn, you still don't know we vote after work?

When are you going to learn something? By mid afternoon, Hillary was President in 2016 and Kerry even won in 2004.

How do you not remember this? Can their be some underlying reason?

For everyone else, I love respectful political dissent, But I have no patience for stupid people constantly making stupid arguments. This particular one told us Trump will be resigning, Trump's kids are all going to jail, Hillary will be POTUS in 2024, Republicans will never win again because we're supposed to be as fucked in the head as he is, AND KAVANAUGH IS A SERIEL RAPIST, Trump colluded with the Russians...... it never stops

I wouldn't say dead but I expected a longer line.

Wonder if the ease of voting today because of short lines thanks to mail-in in increases turnout. Guess we'll see.

Wife's boss said it was dead in Tarrant county as well. Granted she lives in Southlake and most of Southlake has already voted and it's probably 90% Trump.

Umm, I think you're looking for high voter turnout in Miami. That's not a good prospect for Dems performance in FL.

Well actually SoFla has been a pretty consistent Blue since 1992 but I'll acknowledge Tiny camp has been actively promoting a new paradigm

The GOP depth in FL is founded on an almost fitty-fitty split along I4 corridor (Pinellas northeast thru Orlando up to Jacksonville) and a legit almost 2to1 dominance in the northwest quarter of the state

I live downtown - not in Little Havana or Hialeah - I was expecting to see tons of fruitcakes and career voters

Well from 40 floors up most all the ants look the same

Isn't the high humidity (mixed in with some decent heat) uncomfortable at times during the summer months?

Not for someone who spent 37 years living in Texas (23 now in TBay FL)

Well, the scenery is a completely different subject. He said the weather kicks ass 365. I've been to south Florida a couple times in the summer. It's far from kick ass. Temps in the 90's with very high humidity sucks. So Cal weather year round 10-1 over south Florida IMO.

And yes, I'm strictly speaking of the weather. Not the scenery, politics, or anything else.

Comparing horrible to bad does not make bad any less bad. Bad is still bad. And the humidity/heat in many parts of Florida during some of the summer months is not comfortable to most human beings.
